If you are planning to play New Zealand's premier golf courses, this sample itinerary will give you an insight into the New Zealand countryside and learn more about each region and course as you travel between them.

Sample Itinerary: Wellington to Hawke's Bay

• Pick up at Wellington airport
• Check into hotel - free time to explore the city, go shopping or sightseeing, visit Te Papa etc.
• Check out of hotel at 8.30am to travel to Martinborough (one of New Zealand’s premium wine growing regions). Taste at two wineries, one of which includes platters at Poppies winery. Continue your journey to Hawke’s Bay stopping at Mount Bruce’s kiwi sanctuary and wildlife centre. Arrive at your hotel in Napier or Havelock North to have the evening at your leisure.
• 8am pick up at hotel to travel to Cape Kidnappers for a day of golf & leisure. Return to accommodation at 4pm.
• 9:30am check out of your hotel to enjoy a day of sightseeing & wineries. Enjoy lunch at a winery then travel through to Taupo later that afternoon. Arrive at Wairakei Resort, and have your evening at leisure.
• The next day could be Golf at Kinloch or Wairakei, or a transfer to your next destination. Flights or minibus transfer are an option.

• Arrive in Hawke’s Bay and enjoy an abbreviated winery experience, guided Art Deco drive, and a trip up the gorgeous Te Mata Peak for a 360° view of the region.

Overland Cruise Ship Transfers

As a cruise ship passenger you can also enjoy seeing New Zealand over land as well as sea. Bring your overnight bag and stay in one of the North Island’s hot-spots, and enjoy being transported across our diverse and picturesque landscape through the day.

Guided transfers will be customised to meet your ship’s embarkation times and maximise your time on the land.

Sample Itinerary: Wellington to Hawke's Bay

• Day 1: Wine tasting in Martinborough then on to see the Kiwis at the Mount Bruce Wildlife Centre, arriving in Hawke’s Bay in the evening.
• Day 2: Take in a sightseeing tour of Napier’s Art Deco and local landscape with a wine tour included, before a short (2 hour) trip to Taupo for the night.
• Day 3: Discover the Thermal Explorer highway, visit the Agrodome at Rotorua, and complete a sight-seeing tour of Tauranga in the afternoon before rejoining your ship.

Another option if your ship is headed to Auckland is to skip Tauranga and meet your ship at Auckland City. These transfers can also be reversed if your ship is heading south, or shortened if you wish to do only one leg of the journey.
